Inviting Team Members

Collaborate by inviting team members to your workspace. Control access and permissions.

Invitation Methods

Email Invitations

Invite by email:

  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Click Invite Members
  3. Enter email addresses
  4. Select role
  5. Send invitations

Bulk Invitations

Add multiple members:

  1. Enter emails (comma-separated)
  2. Or upload CSV
  3. All receive same role
  4. Edit individually after

Invitation Link

Share a link:

  1. Click Copy Invite Link
  2. Share with team
  3. Anyone with link can join
  4. Expires after 7 days

Invitation Settings

Role Selection

Choose role when inviting:

Workspace Assignment

For multi-workspace orgs:

  1. Select target workspace(s)
  2. Set role per workspace
  3. User accesses only assigned

Invitation Process

For New Users

If they don't have an account:

  1. Receive email invitation
  2. Click link to sign up
  3. Create account
  4. Automatically join workspace

For Existing Users

If they have an account:

  1. Receive email notification
  2. See invitation in-app
  3. Accept or decline
  4. Access workspace

Managing Invitations

Pending Invitations

View pending invites:

  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Click Pending tab
  3. See all outstanding invitations

Resend Invitation

If invitation wasn't received:

  1. Find pending invitation
  2. Click Resend
  3. New email sent

Cancel Invitation

To revoke before accepted:

  1. Find pending invitation
  2. Click Cancel
  3. Invitation invalidated

Help new members:

  • Share key workflows
  • Point to documentation
  • Assign initial tasks
  • Schedule onboarding call

Removing Members

Remove from Workspace

To remove a member:

  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Find the member
  3. Click Remove
  4. Confirm removal

What Happens

When removed:

  • Lose workspace access
  • Their workflows remain
  • Can be re-invited later
  • Account not deleted

Best Practices

1. Least Privilege

Start with Viewer, upgrade as needed.

2. Clear Communication

Tell invitees what to expect.

3. Regular Reviews

Audit members quarterly.

4. Offboarding Process

Remove departing team members promptly.

Troubleshooting

Invitation Not Received

  • Check spam folder
  • Verify email address
  • Resend invitation
  • Try different email

Can't Accept Invitation

  • Link may be expired
  • Ask for new invitation
  • Check account exists
  • Clear browser cache

Role Issues

  • Admin can change roles
  • Contact workspace admin
  • Check permission settings
