Managing Your Subscription

Change plans, update billing, and manage your subscription settings.

Viewing Your Subscription

Current Plan

See your plan at Settings > Billing:

  • Plan name and tier
  • Billing cycle (monthly/annual)
  • Renewal date
  • Current usage

  • Usage limits

  • Credit allowance

Upgrading Your Plan

Why Upgrade

Consider upgrading when:

  • Hitting usage limits
  • Need more team members
  • Want additional features
  • Require better support

How to Upgrade

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Upgrade Plan
  3. Compare available plans
  4. Select new plan
  5. Confirm and pay

Upgrade Billing

When you upgrade:

  • Immediate access to features
  • Prorated charge for remainder
  • New rate on next billing
  • No service interruption

Example

Upgrading Starter to Pro mid-month:

  • Day 15 of 30-day cycle
  • Half month remaining
  • Pay half of price difference
  • Full Pro price next month

Downgrading Your Plan

Before Downgrading

Check you're within new limits:

  • Workflow count
  • Form count
  • Team members
  • Stored data

How to Downgrade

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select lower plan
  4. Review restrictions
  5. Confirm downgrade

Downgrade Timing

Downgrades take effect:

  • At next billing cycle
  • Current features until then
  • No partial refunds
  • Prepare for transition

What to Do First

Before downgrading:

  1. Remove excess team members
  2. Archive extra workflows
  3. Export needed data
  4. Adjust integrations

Changing Billing Cycle

Monthly to Annual

Save 20% by switching:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Switch to Annual
  3. Confirm payment
  4. New annual rate applies

Annual to Monthly

Switch to monthly:

  • At renewal only
  • Toggle before renewal date
  • Loses annual discount
  • More flexibility

Adding Seats

For Growing Teams

Add team members:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Add Seats
  3. Enter number needed
  4. Pay prorated amount

Seat Pricing

Removing Seats

To reduce seats:

  1. Remove team members first
  2. Go to Settings > Billing
  3. Click Reduce Seats
  4. Takes effect next cycle

Subscription Status

Active

  • Normal operation
  • All features available
  • Payment current

Past Due

  • Payment failed
  • Grace period (7 days)
  • Update payment to fix

Canceled

  • Subscription ended
  • Read-only access
  • Reactivate to restore

Paused

  • Temporary hold (Business+)
  • Data preserved
  • Resume anytime

Canceling Subscription

How to Cancel

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Choose reason (helps us improve)
  4. Confirm cancellation

What Happens

After cancellation:

  • Access until period end
  • Then downgrade to Free
  • Data preserved (90 days)
  • Can reactivate anytime

Before You Cancel

  • Downgrading instead
  • Pausing (if available)
  • Exporting your data
  • Talking to support

Reactivating

After Cancellation

To reactivate:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Reactivate
  3. Choose plan
  4. Enter payment
  5. Access restored

Data Recovery

Within 90 days:

  • All data preserved
  • Workflows restored
  • Settings intact
  • Team members re-invited
